Mission: Breaking Barriers Youth & Family Services is dedicated to breaking down barriers and providing comprehensive support services to individuals, youth, and families facing intellectual disabilities, mental illness, and other challenges. Through our innovative programs and partnerships, we aim to empower individuals to overcome obstacles, build healthy relationships, and achieve economic stability, while promoting overall well-being and resilience in our community.

Our Roots
Breaking Barriers Youth & Family Services is a grassroots organization composed of community members, caregivers, and parents who recognized a pressing need and responded decisively. Since our inception, we've operated on the principle that actions speak louder than words. If a solution isn't readily available, we innovate to find one. Our mission is clear: to effect positive change in every aspect of our work. We provide essential information, resources, and referrals to help individuals and families meet their basic needs, fostering connections along the way. By empowering children, youth, and families, we aim to build stronger, more vibrant communities. Our commitment extends to promoting the healthy development of all members and bridging gaps within our community. Through collaboration with local and surrounding residents, businesses, and organizations, we strive to create a unified and resilient society.
